Sugar Plum Farm

Sugar Plum Farm continues to operate as one of the premiere Thoroughbred Breeding Farms in the area. Close to downtown and under 2 miles from the track, we boast a beautiful setting complete with Thoroughbreds of all ages.

Although we are not able accommodate individual tours, we are pleased to be once again participating in NYRA’s Breakfast & Breeding Farm Summer Tours. To reserve a space or for more information you may go directly to the NYRA website: https://www.nyra.com/saratoga/visit/tours/#farmtour

Introducing Sugar Plum Farm Foundation

We have recently created a separate entity named the Sugar Plum Farm Foundation, organized as a New York not-for-profit corporation. (To date, an application for recognition of tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) has been submitted and is currently pending IRS approval.)

We have acquired mini horses, goats, donkeys, and other small animals and plan to offer underprivileged children the opportunity to visit the countryside, see and smell green grass, and interact with the animals. Through meaningful engagement with animals and nature in a safe, supportive farm setting, we aim to empower children through experiences that foster confidence, compassion, and personal growth.

Over time, we plan to expand our programming, engage volunteers, host a summer program, and continue growing our positive impact. We invite you along as we embark on this new adventure. You may follow our progress by clicking the Sugar Plum Farm Foundation tab above.

The Foundation was inspired by Tony’ Malatino’s life journey and belief in opportunities for all children.
