Summer at SPF

As we approach the first day of Summer, we look forward to our world opening up as we emerge from COVID restrictions. Great news yesterday that Saratoga Race Course will be open at 100% capacity this summer!

At Sugar Plum Farm, life is busy as we prepare yearlings for our 2nd annual Sugar Plum Farm online yearling sale in July. The sale will be again handled by Bloodstockauctions.com and will commence online Tuesday, July 22nd, with the auction day being Tuesday, July 27th. That gives buyers a week to view our stock online, and come see them at the farm, before bidding.

Aside from the horses, the flora and fauna around the farm is spectacular. We’ve had baby foxes, herons, and most recently a pileated woodpecker spending time with us. Sugar Plum Farm is a beautiful place for horses and people AND all kinds of wildlife !
